It looks like those that called early got the promotion applied, making the TV $750. I chatted with a rep who told me not to worry - the promotion would be applied no problem. So I waited. When I finally did call, the jig was up - no one else got the promotion. They even have the chat transcript of the guy telling me, "I am sure you will get the promotion. Don't worry." But that did not matter. I understand Az's position on this - this is a lot of money, but I also am surprised that they did not honor their error, given the documentation I had. So I canceled the order. :-(
At least I didn't tell the kids about it...
