Dan, where are the settings found and how do I know what to use for settings? As far as I know, the settings that I'm using were worked out with the assistance of Buffalo tech support when I installed my new router almost a year ago. I've not experienced any problems with the settings since then until this "anomaly." Could it just be a transient glitch and nothing to worry about? Re: What is this? If it is working for you now then any effort to find out what happened is a waste of time. If it happens frequently then troubleshooting is in order. Some routers do get confused for a moment and clears it up. It is what it is. Re: What is this? It seems that what I experienced was a harmless glitch and I'm not going to worry about it unless it occurs again. I'm pretty sure that my router and system are safe, password protected and all. That you posted the icon really helped, Wild eep. GeneL Re: What is this? You got that message when the original device woke up. As stated above, don't worry unless it starts happening often. Re: What is this?
