I do not have a Starbucks habit but occasionally I'll treat myself when I don't have another way to get my evening coffee....
My drink is a grande cappucino, "a little wet." About half the time I get it too wet so my complaint is more likely to be that the cup is too full.....
So c'mon, gray, I know you guys have to have some sort of thing about what type of person orders which drink.... so what does this say about me? Or maybe I don't want to know....

that's why we ask customers if they'd like us to leave room for cream in the cup. of course one person's not enough room is another person's hey you shorted me coffee. and we double bag all trash to help deal with the liquid dumped into receptacles.
Verona is my favorite core coffee, also.
I almost never buy coffee at a coffee place, but I did Thursday morning, and the barista at Starbuck's DID ask if I wanted some room for milk/cream. She was cute, and VERY VERY sweet. I'll remember that location.

Dude, I'm a 50/50 Starbucks - Peets split. My favorite is Major Dickson's Blend (The Major) I haven't gotten all into the Philz and Blue Bottles. They want a lot for a tiny cup of coffee. Something that's grown out of the ground.

naww! nothing special about wet cappuccino drinkers. there is a special place in barista hell for those who order no foam soy lattes, though.
even after 7 years i suck at cappuccinos and if a barista who is better at it than me is snagable i'll ask them to step in and make the drink.

a good cappuccinos is mostly foam. my milk steaming works fine for lattes but i just can't get enough foam for a cappuccino and when i pour it there is too much steamed milk. you'd probably be okay with it since you like them wet but they might be too wet for you even. a good cappuccino should almost feel like there's nothing in the cup when you pick it up. i always compliment my partners when they make a particularly good one as i appreciate their technique.
