OT: Fedex Does Not Honour Their Guarantee? - IronMac - 10-25-2010 HI all, I had a Fedex envelope sent to me here in Singapore from Canada and it was late by 9-12 mins...can't remember. Now, Fedex won't refund the full amount, they want to take off the fuel charge, etc. so instead of $65, it would be $43. My sister had gone to one of their reps here in Toronto and they are telling her to go back to the shop if she wants a full refund. Last year, they were late with another envelope and they fully credited her credit card. Exact same situation but no balking around. Any recourse? Chargeback on her credit card perhaps? Thanks. Re: OT: Fedex Does Not Honour Their Guarantee? - IronMac - 10-25-2010 She's sent an email off to customer service asking for an explanation. ![]() 9-12 mins is very good but they're the ones saying that if it's even 60 seconds late you get a refund. If you can't walk the talk... Re: OT: Fedex Does Not Honour Their Guarantee? - SDGuy - 10-25-2010 9-12 minutes late? - why even bother complaining about this, nothing better to do? Re: OT: Fedex Does Not Honour Their Guarantee? - artie67 - 10-25-2010 I yield to "jimmypoo". Git a life. You wasted more than 9-12 minutes of our time with this karp. Re: OT: Fedex Does Not Honour Their Guarantee? - macphanatic - 10-26-2010 If you have documentation of the guarantee, scan it and the receipt to Fedex asking for a refund based upon the guarantee. If that doesn't work, you could always take them to small claims court. Pretty sure that they won't show up for $65 lawsuit.
