"Cloning" my upgrade from G4/500MP to MacMini G4/1.42 - Mac-A-Matic - 03-17-2011 I know someone here can point me in the right direction. I've been using a 2000 era Mac G4 500MP since it came out in 2000. I've finally decided to "upgrade" to a Mac Mini G4 1.42Ghz I've had lying around the house. The Mac Mini is running OS 10.4.11 and I just installed a 1GB RAM chip. The Mac G4 500MP is also running OS 10.4.11 with 1GB RAM. I've heard that when buying a new Mac there is some sort of utility that simply will "clone" your old machine onto the new machine. My question is: can this be done from the G4/500 to the Mac Mini? Can you please direct me or point me in the direction of the proper tutorial? Thanks!
