"Cloning" my upgrade from G4/500MP to MacMini G4/1.42
#1
I know someone here can point me in the right direction.

I've been using a 2000 era Mac G4 500MP since it came out in 2000. I've finally decided to "upgrade" to a Mac Mini G4 1.42Ghz I've had lying around the house. The Mac Mini is running OS 10.4.11 and I just installed a 1GB RAM chip. The Mac G4 500MP is also running OS 10.4.11 with 1GB RAM.

I've heard that when buying a new Mac there is some sort of utility that simply will "clone" your old machine onto the new machine. My question is: can this be done from the G4/500 to the Mac Mini?

Can you please direct me or point me in the direction of the proper tutorial?

Thanks!

What do you mean by the right direction, huh?

Something wrong with the left?

Something wrong with the center?

Huh?

It's crap like this that is ruining our country!
