Nice to see at 53, he's still in better shape that most 20-somethings. Makes ME hurt just watching it, though. Very cool! Re: Jean-Claude Van Damme's Epic Split for Volvo Is Insane - Robert M - 11-16-2013 Space, To say he's got balls of steel is an understatement! I saw a news broadcast about the video. 100% real in every sense of the word. Extraordinary on a _slew_ of levels! Re: Jean-Claude Van Damme's Epic Split for Volvo Is Insane - RAMd®d - 11-16-2013 Are the truck backing up? It could be just showing in reverse. Still, they clang! But if that just doesn't seen possible! Re: Jean-Claude Van Damme's Epic Split for Volvo Is Insane - Speedy - 11-16-2013 Pretty amazing how he can do that. The pavement must have been very smooth to minimize any bouncing. The trucks are going in reverse because it is far easier to stay a straight course using the truck's mirrors. The drivers use the line of sight along the lengths of the straight sides of the trucks to maintain a fixed distance and there is a pylon or something they are using to hone in on. They could not do the same going forward. |
