Re: No post in remembrance of the September 11th attacks? - Ombligo - 09-11-2014 We had an observance at my school this morning, as I was standing there I realized that the seniors taking part in it were not yet in school when the attack occurred, and freshman were 1 year old at best. The second graders with President Bush that morning in Sarasota, FL are seniors in college now. What seems so recent to us is a lifetime to our young adults. They have never known the nation at peace. To me that is the greatest tragedy.
