And our heart-felt thanks to all of the families of the first responders who gave their lives saving others.

We had an observance at my school this morning, as I was standing there I realized that the seniors taking part in it were not yet in school when the attack occurred, and freshman were 1 year old at best. The second graders with President Bush that morning in Sarasota, FL are seniors in college now.
What seems so recent to us is a lifetime to our young adults. They have never known the nation at peace. To me that is the greatest tragedy.

May they all rest in peace.
Is it time to stop avenging yet?

30,000 escaped from the WTC buildings before they collapsed. We are thankful for those lives saved (some of them neighbors).
