Description:
SUMMARY: Create and execute digital creative projects with the development of long and short-term strategies, plans, products and promotion programs. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create compelling motion graphics and videos on and off property
• Design and develop placement of online, digital displays, website, social media pages, email campaigns and other multi-channel advertising support materials
• Collaborate with the development, strategy, scheduling and maintenance of digital advertising on and off property
• Design, create, and produce interactive presentation products through interactive authoring, graphic design, scanning, illustration, digital video, image editing and/or animation software
• Schedule and create all online advertising and direct marketing email strategies
• Work with the advertising agency and outside vendors to assess technical challenges, update contact information, and ensure continuity of Treasure Island’s image and assist in protecting the integrity of the Treasure Island and Prairie Island Community brand identities, keeping within the graphic guidelines and standards policies
• Design and implement internal and external web pages and applications
• Identify and resolve website technical issues
• Create and analyze web traffic reports
• Create and build relationships with vendors and stay current on industry trends and new technologies
• Design graphics to enhance the look of the site and assist in the design and development of promotional and advertising materials
• Assist in the creation, scheduling and execution of email blasts while maintaining and developing email databases

KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge and Certification
Required:
• 4-year degree in Graphic Design or Art Direction, Animation and Motions Graphics, Web and Interactive Design, or related field; and 5 years related experience
• Candidate must demonstrate a strong portfolio of design work, a solid understanding of layout, typography and storytelling techniques and smart UX sensibility
• Understand the role of creating content for specific digital platforms –mobile, desktop, commerce, social, and responsive principals
• Proficient working with HTML and CSS
• Understanding of JavaScript or other JavaScript based frameworks
• Experience with Wordpress Blogging Platform and Wordpress plugin development
• Experience with website optimization, browser compatibility issues, client server and internet systems architecture, design methodologies and object oriented environments

Skills
Required:
• Experience creating both innovative and attractive animations and GIFs
• Working knowledge of digital signage such as Carousel Digital Signage, Venus 1500, Janus and other content management tools
• Strong computer skills Microsoft Office, Windows, SharePoint and expertise in Adobe Creative Suite on a Mac platform including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects
• Experience with video and audio editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe Animate and After Effects
• Accurate and detail-oriented
• Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills

Preferred:
• Concept and copywriting skills
• Photography editing/compositing skills
