Aunt Jemima gets its new name - Ombligo - 02-10-2021 Pepsico announced the new name of its Aunt Jemima syrup and pancake line. ![]() The renaming was done following acknowledgment that the former name had racist origins. For me the change just makes it more difficult to buy the brand that I enjoy. I recognize that my (white) opinion might not be relevant though.
