BBC isn't clear on this, but al Jazeera says the president and foreign minister were both aboard the missing chopper.

Yeah, if Ali Khamenei died, that would be a bigger deal but even then they'd just quickly elevate someone else to Supreme Leader that would be pretty much the same kind of hardliner.

Not much love lost for this guy, unless you like a guy who has his critics killed, but I sincerely hope this was a tragic accident and not terror. Because the latter could lead to escalated violence.
