Re: Must be a Monday - Windows XP problems here at work... - cbelt3 - 05-25-2007 yeah, when we get that from users we have the following options: 1- sigh, and fix it. 2- lecture them sternly, and fix it 3- remove their rights to do anything but run some basic business programs, and fix it. 4- break their little mouse-clicky fingers, and throw their computer in a dumpster. Maybe toss them in after it. We usually do #1. Repeat offenders get #2. Nutsoid offenders get #3 (and they whiiiiiine !). We fantasize about doing #4, but don't. Too much paperwork. I decided on option 1... However, instead of sighing, I think I used the F-Bomb and was bitching to myself about stupid "SPAM BLOCKER" bullsh*t and a few other things. I kindly told her I would be back in a few minutes, moved her to another computer, and came down and uninstaller all the b/s on there that shouldn't of been on there. She is up and running.
