Must be a Monday - Windows XP problems here at work...
#1
"my computer isn't working"... "I don't know how the weather channel desktop got installed"... "I didn't load that or that either"...

Hmmmm, must of been "THE BUTTERFLY".

yeah, when we get that from users we have the following options:
1- sigh, and fix it.
2- lecture them sternly, and fix it
3- remove their rights to do anything but run some basic business programs, and fix it.
4- break their little mouse-clicky fingers, and throw their computer in a dumpster. Maybe toss them in after it.

We usually do #1. Repeat offenders get #2. Nutsoid offenders get #3 (and they whiiiiiine !).

We fantasize about doing #4, but don't. Too much paperwork.

I decided on option 1... However, instead of sighing, I think I used the F-Bomb and was bitching to myself about stupid "SPAM BLOCKER" bullsh*t and a few other things. I kindly told her I would be back in a few minutes, moved her to another computer, and came down and uninstaller all the b/s on there that shouldn't of been on there.

She is up and running.

"XP problems" is redundant.

Vista: a place you can see but never get to.
