best night in awhile - davemchine - 09-14-2007 My life has been super busy for awhile, I've barely been home, no time to relax at all. But tonight I had dinner with friends, came home to put the kids to bed, and now I'm watching seinfeld season 2 episodes back to back. I'm soooo much more relaxed. Dave ![]() Re: best night in awhile - mikebw - 09-14-2007 Weren't you just complaining about having to party too much the other day? Re: best night in awhile - Lux Interior - 09-14-2007 Yeah, you're not drawing too much sympathy here, party boy! ![]() Went to a party at a friends house last night. It was all home brewers and we did just what you would expect...we sampled alot of beer. Then the bbq fired up and we had hamburgers while watching seinfeld on a 55" tv. More beer and then I smoked my pipe for a little bit. Sat around for an hour and a half chatting and then home. It was a good night but I hit the hay way to late last night. Re: best night in awhile - davemchine - 09-14-2007 well that was fun also... :-) Re: best night in awhile - Kramerica - 09-14-2007 Serenity now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Re: best night in awhile - Mactel - 09-14-2007 It's the Moops! Re: best night in awhile - vision63 - 09-14-2007 davemchine is about having a good time. Re: best night in awhile - davemchine - 09-14-2007 Tomorrow night I'll really be living it up. I'll be attending the Autumn Bounty dinner for the local arboretum. Wine tasting, silent auction, dinner, and dancing under the starts. It should be interesting and I'm hoping to make some new friends. Dave ![]() Arboretum readies for Autumn Bounty YAKIMA -- With a backdrop of pumpkins, pears and hops, it will be a feast of fall flavors and foliage when the Yakima Area Arboretum unfolds Autumn Bounty on Sept. 15. The Arboretum's biggest annual fundraiser, Autumn Bounty, will run from 5 to 11 p.m. at the facility at 1401 Arboretum Drive. Attendees will hear music from the Flute Troupe, taste wines from Two-Mountain, Silverlake, Sagelands and Masset wineries, and enjoy a multicourse dinner catered by Classic Events. In addition, a live and silent auction will feature a wall of wine, mini-vacations, handmade cigars, cooking lessons, boat trips, garden dinners, golf packages and more. Listening and dancing to the rocky blues of Blind Lemon Pie will round out the evening in the Arboretum's Founder's Courtyard. Tickets cost $50 ($45 for Arboretum members), with all proceeds benefiting the nonprofit organization. Call 248-7337 for tickets. Re: best night in awhile - blooz - 09-14-2007 Seems like Yakima is a happening place. Maybe I should move. Re: best night in awhile - davemchine - 09-14-2007 I thought Yakima was boring and nothing ever went on. So this year I joined the Allied Arts, Museum, and Arboretum groups. Now I have all the events and dinners I could ever ask for plus lots of events for the kids. Dave |
