Tomorrow night I'll really be living it up. I'll be attending the Autumn Bounty dinner for the local arboretum. Wine tasting, silent auction, dinner, and dancing under the starts. It should be interesting and I'm hoping to make some new friends.

Arboretum readies for Autumn Bounty
YAKIMA -- With a backdrop of pumpkins, pears and hops, it will be a feast of fall flavors and foliage when the Yakima Area Arboretum unfolds Autumn Bounty on Sept. 15.
The Arboretum's biggest annual fundraiser, Autumn Bounty, will run from 5 to 11 p.m. at the facility at 1401 Arboretum Drive.
Attendees will hear music from the Flute Troupe, taste wines from Two-Mountain, Silverlake, Sagelands and Masset wineries, and enjoy a multicourse dinner catered by Classic Events.
In addition, a live and silent auction will feature a wall of wine, mini-vacations, handmade cigars, cooking lessons, boat trips, garden dinners, golf packages and more.
Listening and dancing to the rocky blues of Blind Lemon Pie will round out the evening in the Arboretum's Founder's Courtyard.
Tickets cost $50 ($45 for Arboretum members), with all proceeds benefiting the nonprofit organization. Call 248-7337 for tickets.
