a mayonnaise substitute? - mrbigstuff - 09-22-2009 does such a thing exist? because "light" mayonnaise is nasty~! Re: a mayonnaise substitute? - Paul F. - 09-22-2009 Miracle Whip ![]() Re: a mayonnaise substitute? - Carm - 09-22-2009 lol Re: a mayonnaise substitute? - NewtonMP2100 - 09-22-2009 ....greek yogurt with added spices.....etc.... ...if you don't have that take regular non-fat yogurt and use a coffee filter or cheese cloth to strain out excess whey (leave in until whey drips away)........add whatever you want to heighten up the taste...some dijon mustard perhaps...? Re: a mayonnaise substitute? - rgG - 09-22-2009 Do you like mustard? BTW, I find both Kraft and Hellman's Light to be quite palatable. Now don't ever buy the Fat Free stuff, as that is slimy and nasty, yuck. Re: a mayonnaise substitute? - OWC Jamie - 09-22-2009 no I don't even like Kraft instead of Hellmann's. I'll use less, or maybe nothing, but I won't use something else. I've used it for my tuna and potato salads for years and no one has noticed. Re: a mayonnaise substitute? - Filliam H. Muffman - 09-22-2009 There are healthier blends. I would say to use an olive oil blend, and use less. I guess it depends on what you are using it for: sandwich, salad dressing, mayo cake... |
