My big problem with Voyager, given its "Lost in Space" premise, was that the ship and crew always appeared so clean & neat and orderly. No starbases, no resupply, no repair stations, etc. I know there'd be other means and trading partners and etc., but it would have made more sense had the ship looked a little patchworked by the end of the series.

Me too.

The finale felt like 4 hours chopped up to fit into 2, but I enjoyed it anyways.

I don't think Tom Paris is a good friend to Harry Kim, he is constantly knocking him down a peg for no reason.

That's because Robert Duncan McNeill knew he was about to have a VERY successful career directing television (see IMDB) and Garrett W-a-n-g was doomed to loser derivative Trek stuff.

Re Janeway as a Captain ... I think she was fine. More along the lines of Kirk than Picard, and you also have to remember her background was as a science officer, rather than command. So her approach was more likely to be to investigate, examine, and come up with possible nonviolent solutions, but... after awhile, like most scientists, she'll just get fed up and do what needs to be done. My favorite line is when she tells the alien, "I don't like you!" rather than trying to talk the alien to death, as would Picard.

I actually liked Janeway as captain. It was a tough situation and she had the ability to deal with her people on may levels from duty to personal. I am just thinking that sticking to her moral guns probably would have resulted in many mutinies in the real world for a crew stranded so far from home.

Kate Mulgrew is the best thing about Orange is the New Black, even though her role is fairly peripheral (she's the Neelix!!!!)
