I've helped install cheaper two-piece toilets.
They were even more difficult to get the tank properly aligned. And even when we got it on there as good as we could the owner still had to wedge a piece of wood between the tank & the wall to stop the tank from shifting every time someone used it. Again, going forward I'd pick a one-piece toilet (Toto or other) over two-piece for DIY. Of course, nothing beats the aggravation of the 'wall-mount' toilets originally installed in our extended family's mountain cabin (now all replaced with standard floor-mount). mrlynn wrote: Why?
