They can have a trolley to extend for recharging when they are not being used.

Delivery trucks get seen by the customer so are good PR!
The Grossest Polluters in Transportation are the giant Ocean Going cargo ships, burning the dregs of the Oil Refining process, bunker fuel oil. Scientists say shipping is one of the largest emitters of sulfur, which causes respiratory problems and acidifies fragile ecosystems. Heavy fuel oil contains 3,500 times more sulfur dioxide than diesel used in cars. The vessels also discharge high concentrations of nitrogen oxides, highly carcinogenic components of smog.

I'll bet Jeff won't be giving up his private jets though!
If I could afford to own one and maintain it, I sure as hell wouldn't! I'd try to learn to fly and see if I could pick up a T-38 and A-10 as well. The USPS buying K-cars helped save Chrysler. Maybe buying electric LLV replacements or even hybrids will help save the Earth. Converting to an electric fleet would be a huge deal. Even converting to a fleet of hybrids would be an undertaking. Maybe employees would get free charging. Me... I wanna fly jets, Sir!
