Had tickets to Emerson, Lake and Palmer on their tour in '74. But the date was cancelled for a member or two to recover from laryngitis and never rescheduled. Or at least that was what the announcement said.
Missed a bunch of other bands whose dates or appearance locations could not be worked into my schedule. But this sticks in mind since I actually could go and had tickets already.

So no Tupac fans?
The Who played 2 years ago at the Virgin Festival in Baltimore, MD along with the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
I have to say that despite the violence and destruction of Woodstock 99', I am so very glad that I was there. I was 17 and went with my older sister and some friends. It was as much a musical experience as it was an exercise in survival. I have no problem understanding how many people actually died there. Lots of great bands, hundreds of thousands of people, just incredible.

Even though I'm in the UK I still managed to see VU although by then Lou and John had left. I suppose I could have put the original VU on my list as they were/are one of my all time favourite bands.
