Forget premissions repair - did you perform a backup before updating to 10.5.3?

On the G5...I have never fresh installed since it came loaded with 10.2(?)...always just upgraded and upgraded, etc...still runs like a champ after all these years on 10.5.3.
Can't tell you how many times I've heard, "I've always done this and never had a problem." And it's true... until you do. THEN you'll get religion.
I have had religion before...and if it ever were to happen to me, I wouldn't be worried one second about it. I'm a professional...I'd take care of it. ; )
