Tiger on a B&W?

ka jot, that is really strange. It definitely is not "NOT snappy" on mine... could it be a problem with your particular B&W? (As I said: mine is originally a Rev 2 450, to which I've done various low-cost upgrades.) I haven't used Mail on that machine, but Safari on it is as fast as it is on any of my other (G4) machines.

Well, ka jot, under Panther, I can report that Safari and Mail ran just fine on my old B&W, granted, I had a gig of ram. But there wasn't anything painful about it. No, really, there wasn't. Sooooo...
