Any suggestions as to what to do next?

Are you on an Intel Mac running a recent version of the OS? If so, try running Safari in 32-bit mode. You can set that with a checkbox in the Get Info window for Safari.

Or...

You could try downgrading the Flash plugin.

See my sig below for my Mac info (yes it's Intel). I'll try both your suggestions and post afterwards.

Ok Doc you won! I downgraded and it works now. I have no idea why it was working with v10 Flash and then stopped. But v9 had more options in the drop down list of cams when in settings. I chose USB CAM and it worked. In v10 it just had Built-in iSight and Google Video Adaptor. I dunno why choosing the built-in iSight didn't work when it worked before.

Oh well. Thanks for your help!

p.S. Running Safari in 32bit mode didn’t work.

Downgrading solves a lot of problems. The latest few Flash revisions have had weird issues. I think that Adobe has focused on addressing their notorious speed and CPU problems at the expense of stability, security and memory management.
