Excellent question. The "easily answered" questions are the hardest ones to research because you have to wade through so many unhelpful or unresolved threads. The cherry on top is when you search the forum for something, and then you find yourself reading through thread after thread criticizing some poor schmuck for not searching the forum.

Yups. Forgot that! Definitely duplexing and, if an all-in-one, an ADF and fax capabilities if possible. ADF very handy for copying, scanning and faxing. Faxing because it's still more secure than scanning and emailing a document.
