Mom passed away yesterday.

My condolences also. My 65 year old mother died this past July from MS.
It's incredibly difficult to deal with, and my heart goes out to you.

May I join the chorus of sympathy for your loss.

I talk to my parents nearly every day. In fact they are more present in my life now than when they were alive.

i'm reading this again, and it's nice to see the warm wishes all have sent.

i still have both parents, and as time marches on, i know i will eventually lose both of them, which saddens me when i dwell on it for too long.

it is part of life, each of us has our time, and then it's gone. try to spread happiness to those around you, and make a positive impact on their lives.

again, strength to you, and realize that the memories of your mom keep her alive in your heart every time you think of her.

Losing a parent is one of the hardest life passages to deal with. No words of consolation really register until much later. Be well and hug those left.

My deepest sympathies go out to you, MacArtist. I lost my mother (and best friend) 12 years ago and still miss her. I suspect you will too - and for a long time.

Mikey's post just above says it all.

I thought I thought I didn't have any tears left after the last couple of day but I was wrong after reading your posts.

Thank you all.

This was a difficult situation because one of my siblings was trying to prevent the rest of us from being there the last moments of my mom's life.

I am sure in time it will get better but this has been a difficult year. We lost my Grandma in February and now Mom.

Thank you again.

Jim

My family's thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, MA. As Mikey said, losing a parent is so difficult, no matter how old you are when it happens. I lost my Mom almost 9 years ago, less than a year after Daddy died. I share your sorrow.
