Europeans did not need PC hybrids, they solved the issue by having super efficient diesels.
Compare the mileages vs the additional manufacturing costs associated with a hybrid.

No standstill. Never said I wanted $12 a gallon gasoline. I want to end oil production subsidies. Those companies can afford to pay their own way.

Such baloney, hard to know where to start. Try the Google. Average car in Europe gets 40 mpg, in the US, it's 20.
