I think $tevie is referring to your blase "business as usual" riposte to any mention of political corruption. Clue phone for cbelt: It's not "business as usual." The government is full of people who work their asses off both in political jobs and in the agencies. To tar everyone with the "they're all corrupt and lazy" brush is unfair to them and to us. The general lack of respect for government is not merited, but people seem to think it is cool. BS.

More clues: Most cops don't even like doughnuts.
Most reporters work diligently, and cooperate with competitors, to get the information out.
There are plenty of lawyers who try to work for the common good.
