How to lose a federal election to a write-in candidate, By Joe Miller
#11
Abusing a journalist is hardly going to hurt him, the far-right and rest of the GOP despise the news media only slightly less than they do the President.

I have to disagree with Grace - I've met Scott McAdams, and he's not a bad guy. He realizes that Alaska functions on 'bringing home the bacon' so to say, but the same could be said for any senator in the US, despite any lip service in the service of hypocrisy. Can he win? Dunno, it'll be close, but if he can maintain his momentum, Miller continues slouching (shouting?) toward sleazitude and continues to put forth the 'aah, teh media is out to get me' routine, it'll depend on how much of a spoiler daddy's Murkowski turns out to be (or who knows, maybe she slips back in in herself - I've seen worse).

Z I'd be happy if McAdams won, I just don't think it's likely.

Are you up in these parts, the home of 2-week autumn before the leaves disappear?

No, I'm in Washington state. But I love Alaska politics and follow Mudflats, Shannyn Moore, etc.
