I find that in this particular election, these calls strongly encourage me to go to the polls and vote.

None of the ones I am getting are FOR a candidate. They are all FUD. FUD deters from voting rather than exhorts.

I've gotten some for a candidate. Interestingly, I got a call from various republicans asking me to vote for the democrat for the House seat being vacated by a retiring Republican.

Republican rep. Vern Ehlers daughters and other republicans for Democrat Pat Miles
