Indeed! I pay attention to all photo threads!

I was struck by the same thing as billybob about the comments. They can be pretty funny. Subjective anecdotes trump lab measurements every time!

Yeah, it is the point of diminishing returns. I have no problem with camera brand passion just like Mac passion but some people go way overboard and get crazy on those camera forums. That is why I don't post on them anymore.

It's about the glass for me too. And less about the quality of the glass (the nicer stuff, I can't afford anyway) and more about the variety.

Like you can buy plastic Diana lenses and a converter for a Canon or Nikon mount. But you can't buy a Pentax mount. One less thing I could play with if I was shooting Pentax. But more power to ya!
