A very down day...

Thanks everyone.

I'm okay. I'm just very worried about a friend.

She told me that even if she had Alzheimer's; she didn't want to know. She was undergoing the tests at the request of her children. Two of them are in the healthcare field.

We've had situations where the minutes feel like hours. Waiting for results of tests. I can't imagine having to wait 3 more weeks!

So please send your thoughts and prayers to this woman. She needs them right now.

Better to test, as there are treatable conditions that are easily confused with the early symptoms of Alzheimer's. Even if the worst, knowing gives time to prepare and do things on your own terms, not be unprepared. The wait though does take it out of you.

If she does have Alzheimer's, that will take care of itself, sadly.

Sorry to hear that. Someday hopefully the scientists will have these diseases cured. Til then, prayers and well wishes...
