A major current irritant? Are you joking? This is nothing more than a minor political talking point being used to excite the great unwashed. Why on earth would snopes look at a such a ridiculous item. They are most definitely NOT a political site so they are not going to look into this week's propaganda hotbuttons.

Giving raises to the vice-president, congress etc while job loss is at an all time high and the debt ceiling is about to be shattered and certainly is a major concern to the american people who are hurting. Obviously you're confortable. Snopes igonores it and truthorfiction did not. I'm done with this thread as further discussion will shift it to the dark side.
