freeradical makes quite a good pointed point. Long ago, this was written:

Out of this came the "Red sky at night..." variations.

My personal experience sailing out of SF, is gray, both at daybreak and at dusk.

And watch out for the Potato Patch! That will turn your turnips, whatever the time is, and whatever the sky.
