I hated Ralph Kramden. Still do.
Now what about Wilma and Fred...?
Ralph always realized he was being an ass. Not that he changed, mind you. But he said, "baby, you're the greatest."
Wilma and Fred are very much based on Alice and Ralph, but I'm sure you knew that already when you posted.

Since we're posting pics, I feel obliged to post this one of a pre-Bewitched EM, taken from an episode of TZ:
... even bedraggled, with dark hair, little or no makeup, continually frowning, and dark circles under her eyes, the woman was simply breathtaking.
And yes, while Barbara Eden had a body that would keep most guys up all night, the problem was that she didn't stay... how to say this delicately... perky.

Yes, and Elizabeth Montgomery is dead now. What does their status today have to do with the discussion at hand?

No real arguments. I never understood why Samantha would willingly submit to Darren when she was more attractive, more intelligent, and more skilled at everything. The show 'explained' it as her desire to be 'human'. Perhaps there were benefits unseen by the TV audience
Well, there are some things that are still just better if you don't have to do it yourself. Darren may have had some unseen... enourmous talent... that only a few lucky gals would know about.

It better had involved some additional tools, cuz I can't imagine it. On the real though, Dick Sargent and Dick York were both fine actors.

Not to belabor the point, but my point was that not every guy wants the prototypical dumb blonde with big honkers.
