I agree on the SSD. But she is trying to help her friend out by letting her buy her machine. And in the process get a little better one. Yes, i'm sure I could find one for $400 but that would be an unknown quantity for her friend. Much easier to buy from someone you know.

Haha. That's what i was thinking. I'd imagine the Pro would be better for her uses. Since the advantages of the AIr would be for naught since she uses her laptop at a desk.

Wrong model. That is the aluminum one.

Edit: That website makes no differentiation on models. Horrible for determining value. It lumps all the 2.0Ghz white Macbooks together into one price. That is a span of 3 years of laptops with everything from crappy intel integrated graphics to nvidia models. But they don't seem to care.
