For me personally, good music must succeed first on its melody; lyrics are secondary, performance and stage presence third, and a performer's looks are a distant fourth.

The tune in the OP link, to me, was predictable and repetitious. Similar to any number of solo female performances from the last 20 years or so.

They do show some resemblance though in music..Tori..more flurry bound and embellished. Regina..mostly more stripped down but not always.

In my darkroom days, which were plentish..Tori Amos was with me quite a bit..loud too.
