Would like to get it to print. As it did three days ago, you know, click on print and watch it do it's thing. Previously this work as a plug in and print. Now it looks like IRS tax code or direction to Obamacare.

you can try to reset the printing system

System Preference, click on Printer and Fax, CONTROL-CLICK in the window that shows the printers and reset the printing system.

If not, delete the printer (-) and then add it back (+)

Running OSX 10.8.5 - Every time I "Repair Permissions" my Canon MP960 will not print.

To correct the problem I go into the Print & Scan System Preference and select that printer.
I then select "Open Print Queue" for that printer. I get a message that the software for that printer is installed incorrectly.
It gives me the option to Repair, which I select. It then reports "Repairing Permissions". After that the printer works fine. LyleH
