LOL!
I almost fainted riding my bike in Denver due not accustomed to high altitude.

Boulder has been on my mind for a while. I visited friends there last year and loved it. I am getting very, very sick of the San Francisco Bay Area.
I was born and raised on the Peninsula, lived there for 30 years before buying a house. In order to afford a decent house, my wife and I moved 60 miles northeast of SF to Contra Costa County. We are both professionals who make good money, with no kids, and housing in the Bay Area proper was well beyond our reach. In my little cookie-cutter bedroom community, the population has exploded from 14,000 when I moved here in 2000 to about 42,000 now. The influx of rude and just unpleasant people has been felt here, too.
I am sorely tempted to sell the house (even with the soft market here) and just get the hell out once and for all. As they say on TV infomercials, "There's GOT to be a better way!"

Kap,
Could be worse. You could've gotten an F+. I heard some teachers actually give this as a grade, primarily as a way of saying, "You could've gotten a passing grade except that you didn't bother making any effort to earn it and insteadspent your time making class miserable for me and your peers. Therefore, I chose not to pass you even though you have the ability to get a better mark."

Have you considered moving out of the country altogether and doing the expat thing? If you can work over the internet or save enough to retire early, you can live like a king in some countries. That's been my plan for a while now. I was hoping to do it last year, but I haven't yet put together a big enough nest egg to purchase a home in Mexico. I'm also going to check out Costa Rica, since I've put off the move for the time being.

My first year of college, one of my dorm buddies did so poorly on a midterm exam his professor gave it a grade of G. From that day forth he was no longer known as Steve -- he was Mr. G, a name that stuck with him for the rest of his college days.
