NYTs: Jobs Was iPad Fascist With His Kids

:agree:

I didn't click on the bait. Jobs was a man of contradictions. If I had his money, I wouldn't have bought a historical home if I wasn't in love with the ergonomics of the kitchen.

Edit: Back to the original theme, I would make sure that my kids had a technology tutor (especially if they showed more talent for something where I was lacking), and had enough access to be a master of anything I thought would be important in the future.

I nearly abandoned the Mac because of Jobs' overbearing focus and exclusions. I never did figure out why he worked to hard to block people from gaming on the Mac, it's not like he turned the platform into a business focused powerhouse. Time will tell if the successors can keep the company going another five to eight years. Is Larry going to change the name to iOSResource when the Mac is discontinued?
