Put the video in fast motion. It's just a reaction, not a flop. This whole attack the athlete meme we got going on this board is tiresome. You never see anything positive.
I get your point, but you picked one of the worst players to trumpet the cause. His own peers don't seem to care much for his antics either. Shoot, I'm not sure guys on his own team like him that much. Not with him breaking his own hand and leaving them shorthanded.
The faux tough guy thing and flopping is pretty old at this point. Having said all that, he sure is a heck of a talent. Getting better as a playmaker! As a true Power Forward. Not a stretch four or physical freak like LeBron who plays like four positions (well, three, PG, SF, and PF, he can't shoot well enough to be a 2, but he can defend that spot as well), but a true PF looking like a playmaker! A big man like Chris Webber at the four, or Vlade at the 5 dropping dimes. I think he would be a better fit with the Cavs. Make the trade already!
He's the best person to pick at this moment.
Trade him for who? He's a lottery pick. Clippers can't get value for him. I do think the Clippers play better without him. Jordan, who has a much more limited repertoire is stifled when Griffin is on the floor. When Jordan can do his job of clogging the middle, blocking shots and dunking, the Clippers flow faster and more fluidly. This is why Chris Paul isn't as effective. So far the Clippers are 12 and 5 with Griffin out.

I have no idea how to even parse this statement. What was the secret to divining the meaning?

I think they are 12-3 in this last injury stretch. If Blake falls out of favor in LA, I think the Clippers should have traded him to the Cavaliers for Love. Now, I'm not sure the Cavs make that trade, not without taking on Varejao. So maybe Stephenson and Blake for Varejao and Love?
Right now that's probably a better deal for the Clips, since Stephenson has been awful for two seasons now and Blake can't play right now. Varejao is a salary throw in at best. Actually, if you use the Haywood trade exception, Cleveland could gain Stephenson and Blake for just Love. Again, for the rest of the season even, the Love trade is a win for the Clippers, but if Blake can get healthy and Stephenson can become mini Lebron off the bench (playmaking and a little scoring off the bench, mixed it with another defender for the win), Cleveland would be alright.
I'm just dreaming. Love just looks so miscast on the Cavs. He doesn't D up.

I don't know who this guy is.
The 'who' not important to me.
But if he hits someone, then follows him outside and attacks and hits him again, that's not sportsmanship, that's battery.
When it's in the context of a game, apparently it's just boys being boys, you know- sportsmanship and the attacker has to miss a few games.
When it's done on the street it's a crime and should be seen and treated as such.

I don't think Love is schemed to D up. He's used to offenses running through him. He's a very effective and talented tool if utilized properly. Blake on the Cavs would be a big big difference maker. He has an Eastern Conference stop the ball style. I'd trade straight up for Love, though a high energy guy like Varejao would help the Clippers greatly.
Of course while everybody waits for the Warriors to possibly cool off (doesn't look like it's gonna happen).
