You would think so, but kitty made an effort to not puke in its own carrier. small bits landed on several surfaces but the bulk ended up on a floor mat. I was mostly well prepared for cleanup (could have used more water, might have brought a few baby wipes)
It was the worst thing that could happen and it wasn't that bad. I knew my co-driver was a backpacker so he knew that the most important part of any problem is keeping your shit together and just getting on with it. Also, he's worked as a vet tech.
