Car and cats are in WI! (part of the 'how do i leave nyc?' series)

>Cats vomit under stress. (So do babies, for that matter.) I imagine the kitties were riding inside some kind of carrier contraptions, which would have served to contain any disagreeable fluids, facilitating clean-up as well.

You would think so, but kitty made an effort to not puke in its own carrier. small bits landed on several surfaces but the bulk ended up on a floor mat. I was mostly well prepared for cleanup (could have used more water, might have brought a few baby wipes)

It was the worst thing that could happen and it wasn't that bad. I knew my co-driver was a backpacker so he knew that the most important part of any problem is keeping your shit together and just getting on with it. Also, he's worked as a vet tech.

If he has worked as a vet tech, he has seen and probably had to clean up much, much worse than one cat vomit.

You were fortunate, as kitty puke is not the worst thing that could have happened, not at all, not by a long shot. Cat vomit is not nearly so noxious as some other substances that can be excreted (voice of experience).

Congrats on the successful trip! Smile

And, no, mattkime and other New Yorkers, that doesn't mean C®is is on the Pacific coast.

Glad you and your cats + car made it to your new home. Now all you have to do is convince the cats to stay there. LOL - good luck.
