Yeah, but Speedy didn’t tell you that the day before yesterday we were at dew points around 80. Yuck!

But the fever has broken, at least for now, and we’ll send some of our cooler air your way, if you ask nicely.

i call it the dreaded 100 100. 100 degrees 100% humidity. it feels like hitting a solid wall when you go outside. lived through years of it on east coast with no air conditioning. saps your energy

NYC and Boston (and I am sure Baltimore, etc) get hit with ridiculously hot weather. My MIL from DC years ago said that the summers in Boston felt hotter to her than in DC.

every time I visit my mom outside Phoenix and she says "But it's a dry heat" I remind her to tell that to the Thanksgiving turkey!
