I still have a PM7300; it's been G3'ed, and otherwise totally FrankenMac'ed, but its two internal 9GB U2WSCSI HDD's running OS 8.1 & 8.6 are a Mac Time Machine in its own right. All sorts of external goodies complete the setup, so it also runs the various flavors of OS 9.x thru Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.x. Basically, it's the complimentary big brother rig to the Pismo for running old school Mac wares.
It was nowhere near my first mac, but I involuntarily traded an original Bondi blue iMac for it with a client shortly before 9/11, and because of the aftermath from 9/11 we never got around to trading back.... so that's how it became a "project" machine. Not the easiest Mac to root around in, but not as bad as some of the other old "knuckle busters" of that bygone era.
OTOH, if you'da bought APPL stock, instead of that PM7300, you'd have about $4.5M of AAPL in your portfolio today.
