Anyone Paint A kitchen Red?
#21
Ack, they made the feature I was looking for harder to find. Click http://www.behr.com/behrx/inspiration/practical_5.jsp, then click on "Click here to view sample palette" under print or purchase color palettes. Once the new window open click Preview/Print. This will allow you to choose a room and play with the colors. Just change the palette, click on the wall or trim, and see what it looks like.

[quote mrbigstuff]this is a good thread. i'll have to start my own, though, since i have a bunch of questions and don't want to be a hiajcker. BUT, i will ask what people think about red as an accent only color as a lower wall paint, like below a chair rail. i'm trying to liven up a really dead "living" room (pun intended).
Usually the darker or more neutral color will recede, while the bolder or less neutral will seem to push at you-- so go for a more neutral or less vibrant red to keep the lower half of the room from jumping out at you.

Red kitchen-- just the thing if you're underweight and/or undersexed . . .

I had some marinara do a monsterous "blorup" and coat the back wall too. Not a pleasant thing. Not unlike a very tasty tar explosion though.
