Fuzzy face advice needed from Bearded pros…

Nothing. Just incidental shampoo during work on top of the head. I keep the beard limited to about a half-inch, so crumb catching and stepping on it are limited.

I use Honest Amish beard/body soap to clean my face in the shower, and their beard balm afterwards. Depending on how long you grow your beard and how the hairs grow you may just need a beard oil instead of balm.

I have ended up selecting the unscented version of the beard balm, they have a number of different scents available. For the soap I use the one labelled as "Slick", not a heavy scent and mostly rinses out. It doesn't take much of the beard balm, an amount about the size of a large pea or small bean works for my full beard. Just a van Dyke would need even less.
