Shake or not Shake? Cow vs Goat milk.
#11
I never knew goat milk has somewhat less lactose than cow milk. I also have mild intolerance but use Fairlife and it is great for me. And while I love sheep cheese and yogurt, goat not so much.

My wife's skin itches when she has lactose. Sheep and goat milk and cheese are OK.

We tried Lactaid, A2 milk, etc, still has these issues. I don't recall if we tried Fairlife.

There can be all kinds of weird reactions to various milk proteins. Considering that both goat and sheep milk have lactose (just a bit less than cow) and that Lactaid (which has much less than either one of those) did not work, I would think it is a protein-based reaction rather than lactose.
