I am very happy with Packet8.

What I like best is that they provide a software called SoftTalk, which my family overseas uses to call us on the PHONE LINE (the VOIP line). We used Skype for a while, but we had to stay in front of the computer, which was a pain. Now they call us whenever they want, and we pick up the cordless phone and chat. No computer, no headphones, no "appointments". They still have to use a computer, but then it's 100% free for them.

Man I gotta switch. Qwest charges me $70+/mo for two lines, one with limited services and the other with their top tier package (they only have two so it's bottom of the line or all the features you don't use and then some.) I called Canada the other day. They charged me about $2/min.

That call alone was more than most VOIP packages.
