Kwan bows out of Olympics

Maybe she and Cher can do a farewell tour, or maybe she can introduce Olympic ice-ribbon skating, and wave paper mache around the rink for new medals

My observation was in no way meant as a criticism of Kwan. She indeed showed much class and maturity in making the decision she did; she has both my sympathy and my respect. The comment was intended to be an observation of how ridiculously over-the-top statements by public officials can (and often do) get.

How about Michelle and Tommy Lee on that Celebrity Ice Skating. That would be more fun than the Olympics eh?
