Anyone have a Recipe for "Groaty Pudding"? Perhaps our British MRF'ers?

PS..
Now if I could just find someplace local that carries mutton...
Lots of old recipe's for Mutton.... can't find the stuff unless it's "underage" Mutton (Lamb).

Mutton is making a big comeback here in the UK. Was out of fashion for decades but in the last year or two people are realising there is good mutton out there and the better farmers are getting their acts together.

By the way, why not Google the recipe for "Spotted Dick" while you're at it?

"Spotted Dick" is a dessert or "pudding" as they say across the pond.

I've read that..
But here in North America, it seems that once lambs get to whatever their "best if used before" date is, they're seen as only good for wool and making more lambs. And whatever other uses the ranchers use 'em for ( I ain't gonna ask!).

Hopefully the revival of mutton makes it over here.

I know... but you can't expect me to pass up a straight-line like that, can you?

I'm not a Norfolk native and am not a great football fan but I suppose because I've been here over 20 years I have a certain amount of interest in how they do. At the moment that isn't very well. I'm much more a motorsport fan.
